Registering information

 

Personal information is any information that can be used to identify an individual, including (but not limited to) name, email address, postal address, title, date of birth, gender, profession, personal interests or other information necessary for them to submit their proposals under this call.

Any consultation of A Creche's website, particularly for the purpose of analyzing the conditions of this invitation, will be anonymous.

A Creche does not automatically record personal information or the e-mail address of any participant.

Any personal information requested will be for the exclusive information of A Creche and may not be disclosed to third parties without the prior consent of the respective holder.

However, all data provided will be used to keep the person or entity that provided it up to date on new competitions, invitations, services, resources or other information that A Creche considers relevant and of interest to the person or entity that provided such data.

In order to optimize the personal experience of using the website, information relating to the user's browsing choices is stored in cookie format. Any user is, however, free to disable this capability through their browser's privacy settings.

 

 

Information sharing

 

The information provided will never be shared outside of A Creche without the express permission of the person or entity that provided it, and the data provided will be stored on servers controlled and managed by A Creche with limited access.

A Creche can only transfer personal information to other entities when it has been previously and unequivocally authorized to do so.

 

 

Data security

 

The Creche guarantees the security of personal data through physical, electronic and procedural procedures. To this end, A Creche uses security mechanisms and processes in order to maintain data security. However, despite all efforts, it is not possible for A Creche to guarantee the full and absolute inviolability of the security of the information received, so A Creche urges you to take all precautions to protect personal data when using the Internet.

 

Right to change, rectify and delete data

 

The holder of any personal data is guaranteed the right to access, rectify, amend or delete it, under the terms of articles 16 to 18 of the GDPR(1).

 

Privacy policy changes

 

The privacy policy may be modified at any time. If the change in question is considered substantial and has implications for the way in which A Creche uses and processes personal data, all interested parties will be informed by means of a notice to this effect on the homepage of A Creche's website.

What is the privacy and personal data protection policy?

 

This Policy establishes the terms under which A Creche processes its clients' personal data and the rights they may exercise, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council - General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - and other applicable national legislation on privacy and data protection. 

 

 

What is personal data and the processing of personal data?

 

Personal data is any type of information relating to a natural person. For example, their name, an identification number, location data, contact details, even elements of their physical, economic or social identity.

The processing of personal data is any operation carried out, by automated or non-automated means, on this data - collection, recording, alteration, consultation, use, transmission and destruction.

 

How does A Creche collect customer data? 

 

A Creche collects personal data within the scope of the commercial relationship established with the client, for example, through the execution of a contract. 

When collecting and processing data, A Creche complies with the applicable legal obligations and observes the principles and rules of processing, requesting the client's consent when necessary to process data.

 

Are clients' personal data secure? 

 

Creche adopts various technical and organizational security measures in order to protect its customers' personal data against loss, dissemination, alteration, improper or unauthorized processing or access. 

Data may be kept for as long as there are legal obligations or those arising from the commercial relationship with customers.

 

Can Creche transfer its clients' data to third parties?

 

Creche may use third parties - subcontractors - to provide certain services, which may involve access by these third parties to customers' personal data. Creche ensures that these subcontractors meet the applicable legal requirements and offer adequate guarantees in terms of data protection.

 

What are the rights of personal data subjects?

 

a) Right of access - provision of information about the personal data that A Creche holds about the data subject and about the respective processing;

b) Right to rectification - correction, updating or inclusion of information (which may be missing) relating to the data subject;

c) Right to erasure of data ("right to be forgotten") - erasure of data once the legal requirements for this have been met (no active contracts, exceeding the legal data retention period to which A Creche is obliged);

d) Right to restriction of processing - (temporary) suspension/cessation of data processing, subject to the applicable legal requirements;

e) Right to portability - making the personal data provided by the client available in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, so that it can be transmitted to another data controller;

f) Right to object - withdraw consent to data processing(s) carried out on this basis.

 

How can customers exercise their rights and access information on personal data management?

 

Creche ensures that customers can exercise their rights to access, portability, rectification, opposition, erasure and restriction of processing. 

 

Requests for information on personal data management can be submitted via the contact email info@acreche.pt.    

 

Customers can also lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission, the public authority that oversees the application of legislation in Portugal.

 

 

What is a data breach?

 

 

A data breach is a breach of security that accidentally or unlawfully causes the unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure of or access to personal data processed by A Creche.

 

Examples of data breaches include

- the unauthorized verbal or written transmission of personal data, 

- the loss, theft or unsafe storage of documents or devices (PC or cell phone),

- sending personal data to the wrong recipient,

- sending an e-mail to a number of recipients using the "To" option instead of "Bcc".
